WHEN SHOULD I USE THIS PRODUCT? Use it daily, AM and PM - your consistent barrier-boosting essential. Apply after serums and before SPF in the morning. This works as the moisturising step in any routine, including routines built around actives like AHAs, BHAs, or retinol, where barrier support is especially important. CAN IT BE USED IN THE SAME ROUTINE AS RETINOL & VITAMIN C? Yes. Use Vitamin C in the AM, Retinol in the PM, and layer Bio-Active Ceramide Moisturiser on top in both routines. The ceramides help buffer any dryness or irritation from Retinol read more on what not to mix with Retinol here.

CAN I USE THIS WITH RETINOL TO HELP WITH DRYNESS OR IRRITATION? Yes - this is one of the best pairings in any routine. Apply Retinol first, then follow with Bio-Active Ceramide Moisturiser. The ceramides reinforce the skin barrier and help reduce the dryness and sensitivity that can come with retinol use, making it easier to stay consistent with your retinol routine.

IS IT REPLACING RETINOL IN A DAILY ROUTINE? Nope. Use them together. Apply Retinol first, then follow with Bio-Active Ceramide Moisturiser.

IS IT REPLACING PEPTIDE MOISTURISER IN A DAILY ROUTINE? They're different but complementary. Peptides signal your skin to produce more collagen and elastin. Bio-Active Ceramides repair and strengthen your barrier. Use this as your daily moisturiser and add a peptide serum if anti-ageing is your main goal.

CAN I USE MAKEUP ON TOP OF IT? Yes. 88% said it didn't pill and left a smooth base for makeup. Let it absorb for 30–60 seconds before layering makeup or SPF.

DOES IT HAVE SPF? No SPF in this formula. For full protection, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen like our Dewy SPF 30 in the AM.
