IS IT SUITABLE FOR OILY/BREAKOUT-PRONE SKIN? Yes. It’s non-comedogenic and clinically proven not to clog pores. Works across skin types—from oily to dry, even sensitive. Prefer something lighter? Try Omega Water Cream.

ARE THERE ACTIVES THIS PRODUCT SHOULDN’T BE USED WITH IN THE SAME ROUTINE? None. It plays well with all actives and fits easily into any AM or PM routine.

CAN I USE MAKEUP ON TOP OF IT? Yes. 88% said it didn’t pill and left a smooth base for makeup. Let it absorb for 30–60 seconds before layering makeup or SPF.

DOES IT HAVE SPF? No SPF in this formula. For full protection, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen like our Dewy SPF 30 in the AM.

IS IT OIL-FREE? No. This formula uses nourishing ingredients to repair and protect your barrier—oil included. If you’re looking for an oil-free option, go for Omega Water Cream.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN BENEFITS I CAN EXPECT TO SEE FROM THIS PRODUCT? That depends on your skin stage: 25–30: Deep hydration + barrier support. 30–40: Fine lines and firmness. 40+: Visible lifting + bounce

IS IT REPLACING RETINOL IN A DAILY ROUTINE? Nope. Use them together. Apply Retinol Serum first, then follow with Bio-Active Ceramide Moisturizer.

CAN I USE BIO-ACTIVE CERAMIDE MOISTURIZER AS AN EYE CREAM? Yes. You can apply a small amount around the eye area—just be gentle. Want to target specific eye concerns? Try Caffeine Eye Cream (for puffiness/dark circles) or Retinol Cream (for lines) in your PM routine.

WHAT IS A BIO-ACTIVE CERAMIDE? Bio-Active Ceramides go deeper. Unlike traditional ceramides, their shorter chain structure helps them penetrate multiple layers of the skin. That means barrier repair and visible results—firmer, smoother, stronger skin from the inside out.

WHAT DOES BIO-ACTIVE MEAN? ‘Bio-active’ means this ingredient does more than sit pretty—it gets to work. It’s active within the skin, targeting specific processes to deliver visible, skin-changing results.

WHAT ARE CERAMIDES? Ceramides are lipids that naturally occur in the skin. Think of them as the glue holding skin cells together—they keep your barrier strong and your skin protected. Traditional ceramides sit on the surface and support the outermost layer.

IT HAS SHEA BUTTER IN IT—IS IT NON-COMEDOGENIC? Yes. It’s clinically tested to be non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog pores or cause breakouts. All ingredients meet the non-comedogenic standard.

WHY IS IT IN A JAR, NOT A TUBE? The rich texture works best in a jar—easier to scoop, less waste, more accessible. We tested it thoroughly to ensure freshness and performance for 6 months post-opening. Just apply with clean, dry hands.

WHY DID YOU CHANGE PEPTIDE FROM A JAR, BUT NOW BIO-ACTIVE IS IN A JAR? Peptide Moisturizer’s lighter texture works better in a tube—and we didn’t have a sustainable jar option back then. Bio-Active’s richer texture needs a jar, and this one’s made with 65% PCR plastic.
